My name is Simon Jurčič, I work as a photographer and graphics designer in Slovenia, near Ljubljana, the capital city.

I am interested in many types of visual arts, but specialize in photography and graphic design.

As photography commissions I mainly do portrait/ lifestyle and reportage photography. Shooting stills, street and architecture is for the soul, something to keep that fire burning, because not every project should be work. Watching the world around me unwind and then capturing the absurd & beautiful moments of it, is what’s it all about for me. Whatever it may be, having that moment frozen in time and being able to rewatch it later is the thing that makes me show up.

But graphics design plays a bigger role in my everyday life. Storytelling with it through posters is by far my favourite afternoon activity. Exploring new/ old concepts and styles, keeps me constantly evolving and improving my craft. Since there is so much graphic design all around us in our everyday lifes inspiration is not scarce. And there are always more stories & ideas to share.

For commissions I mostly do visual identities, posters, stationery, social media templates, signage,…

Besides that reading, staying in good shape and spending time with my loved ones are my main priorities :)
