Branding Identity

Rebranding Challenges

The original task was to create a logo and an email signature. Since I genuinely enjoyed both the direction of the project and the work produced for the competition, expanding the identity system further felt like the natural next step.

The main objective was to create a visual identity that feels playful, warm, and approachable, while still remaining memorable and visually cohesive. From the very beginning, it was important that the logo instantly communicates a connection to children and childhood imagination. The intentionally hand-drawn appearance and soft imperfections contribute to a sense of creativity often associated with children’s expression.

The colour palette was carefully chosen to support this feeling. Orange tones symbolize curiosity and energy, while green represents growth and development. The light cream-yellow background introduces a sense of warmth and purity, while black elements provide contrast and stability, helping the identity remain visually grounded despite its expressive nature.

Sticker-like illustrations became a core part of the identity system. Their playful shapes and hand-crafted execution reinforce the child-like atmosphere and create a sense of interaction and movement across the compositions. Rather than relying on rigid geometric structure, the visuals embrace freedom, imagination, and experimentation qualities strongly connected to early learning and creative development.

The supporting posters continue this direction through symbolic storytelling. Each illustration represents a different aspect of growth and education: strong foundations, confidence through learning, and creativity sparked by storytelling. Together, the identity aims to feel optimistic, inviting, and emotionally engaging, while maintaining enough structure to function consistently across different applications and formats.
